My Lyrical Dream

I may not become rich or famous,
or known around the world,
I can say I've made an effort,
to let my words be heard.

I may not use fancy equipment,
I work with what I got,
however...
it's writing something to create mood,
whether someone likes it or not!

I recite a few lines over time,
till they become familiar to the heart,
I play them out in my head
I then let the heart play its part.

I know failure isn't a problem,
I have purpose and not afraid to fall,
making a contribution to something I love,
writing lyrics, however small.

It's never to late to do something,
you've always wanted to do,
articulate then dedicate,
try another dream, however new.

Take chances, for they are only thoughts,
of what, you wish,
Live once, for it's the only
chance we get.

Never let, "Excuse" be excused,
Never let, "Ill Try" die,
Never give up on "Cant",
Never let "If "slip by.

Roar like the sea ,
Pass like the time,
Shine like the sun,
Live like the tree,
Rekindle the flames of life,
taking charge of your destiny.

When there's a light shining,
just above the horizon,
follow it, take a chance,
It may lead you to a place in time,
a place somewhere,
you've always, wanted be.

ATTAINABLE

Nothing is unattainable,
Even the highest star in the sky,
If it can be seen, or touched,
It's attainable, even in the blink of an eye.

A puzzle can be put together,
A problem can be solved,
It activates the sensories,
To keep your dreams involved.

A question can be answered,
With a Key or Code, it can be accessed,
And to have unattainable doubts,
Is only part of the process.

The unthinkable started as a thought,
And all things created are attainable,
We are all capable of doing something,
And nothing is impossible.
